Gaffa - "Neither Use Nor Ornament" Remaster

'Neither Use Nor Ornament' by Gaffa was originally released in 1978 on the bands own "N" Products label. Originally available only on vinyl, the album has been digitally remastered by KJAMM at Sirkus Studios in Nottingham and is now available on CD and digital download for the first time.

Having had success when their first EP 'Normal Service Will Never Be Resumed' scored single of the Week in NME and they went on to garner praise from all rock press quarters. 'Neither Use Nor Ornament' followed and Vocalist and bassist Wayne D. Evans, guitars Clive 'Eddie' Smith and John Maslen and drummer Mick Barratt comprised the band all of whom, contributed tracks. Mike Finesilver recorded the album at the highly acclaimed Pathway Studios. The release was followed up with three other double A sided singles, hard gigging around the club and university circuit, with a Maida Vale Peel Session thrown in and a BBC TV airing on 'Look Hear' hosted by Toyah Wilcox.
